Our MissioN
At the SomBel Youth Conference, our mission is to empower Somali youth and professionals across Europe by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and networks needed to succeed in various sectors. Through our annual events, we aim to:
- Raise Awareness about the dangers of drug addiction, provide support resources, and promote resilience.
- Tackle Social Media Dependency by encouraging digital balance, mental well-being, and responsible online habits.
- Introduce Online Business opportunities in cryptocurrency and AI, offering insights on benefits, risks, and financial literacy.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a thriving Somali community in Europe that is connected, informed, and actively contributing to society. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change, driving personal and collective growth for Somali youth in Belgium and beyond.
Previous Events
SomBel Youth Conference 2022
Our inaugural event in Antwerp focused on "How Somalis in Europe Can Start and Adopt Online Business." We explored opportunities in the digital world, guiding attendees on leveraging technology for entrepreneurship.
SomBel Youth Conference 2023
Held in November, the second event covered critical sectors in Belgium, including education, business, and politics. The event featured presentations from Somali students, business owners, and political figures, providing insights on excelling in these areas.
